Art Trade/Commission information

Yes, I do art trades and commissions. Although I refuse to draw anything Homophobic, Racist, or insensitive to those with both Political and Religious Beliefs. (FYI, I'm a democratic liberal, but I respect all views so long as mine are Respected as well). If you're interested, feel free to hit me up in my comments or a private note.

Art Trades! Simple as pie. Draw something for my new group which can be found by clicking here horace-x-simmons.deviantart.co… and I will be willing to draw just about anything for ya- except anything Homophobic, Racist, or insensitive to those with both Political and Religious Beliefs, as stated before.

Commissions start at $20 per character, fully colored (digital only). Though I'm willing to do simple line art for a character for only $10. All commissions will be done through Paypal and I only accept USD currency. If I have difficulty drawing your character, I will refund you the money. If you want something a little more than just a character sketch, send me a private note and we can work something out.


I am an artist living in the Boston area (Well... at least the halfway point to Boston & Cape Cod). Some call it a hobby, I say it is my calling in life... well, aside from Animal Rescue and my job as a Wildlife Conservationist. Just know that I can be very opinionated, and I don't really care what people think of me. I'm me, and that's all I can really be. If you have any questions or concerns, or just want to hit me up for a conversation, feel free to do so. I promise, I don't bite... much... muahahahaha!

Job or Profession: Wildlife Conservationist in the town of Plymouth & throughout Cape Cod (Wherever I'm stationed for the week). I help to conserve and protect a variety of endangered wildlife habitats. I honestly love my job.

Green

Milk, but only whole milk. I hate that low-fat shizz.

A mural, and it would be a blend of Disney and Nintendo characters.

4: Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?
I didn't grow up in just one town, I traveled with my dad for most of my life. And I loved it!

5: Your favorite adult as a child? (and not your parents, if they were your favorite)
My Aunt Joy. She has loved me and accepted me for who I am all of my life and I love her!

6: What kind of smoothie sounds really good right now?
Strawberry/Banana with a hint of lemon!!

7: Most embarrassing moment from your elementary school years?
Probably getting caught crawling around in a dumpster, pretending I was Carmen Sandiego.

8: Most embarrassing moment from your middle school years?
I was too busy traveling around the world to be bothered with Middle School... in other words, home-schooled.

I attended a Public High School for my half of my junior year and onward. Unfortunately I don't have many interesting stories from
that brief time-period.

Ninjas. Four words: Teenaged Mutant NINJA Turtles.

11: Have you ever climbed a tree more than twenty feet off the ground?
Yes, even today, climbing a tree is and sitting that high up is sometimes my only solace.

Yes, and yes.

13: If you could have any pet in the world, illegal or not, what would you get?
Um, I already have two dogs, four cats, a Gray Tree frog, a Rococo Toad, and five turtles. But one can never have too many pets.

My chest. Nice n' hairy.

My caring, compassionate nature.

If I had to choose, Modonna... only because 80s music rocks.

Yeah, no....

I don't watch sports, nor do I drink.

French Onion Pizza with Roasted Red-Peppered Sausage. Oh... MY GAWD.

I honestly can't tell the difference.

Whole milk.

North & South America, Europe, Northern Africa (Egypt)

23: Do you get motion sickness? Any horror stories?
No, I am quite comfortable in the air and on the sea.

24: Backpacks or satchels?
BOTH are extremely handy when you hike, rock-climb, and kayak as much as I do!

25: Would you wear a rainbow jacket? A neon yellow sweater? Checkered pants?
Yes, I definitely would not mind showing off my PRIDE!

26: What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
Fox's Peter Pan & the Pirates, Bobby's World, Mr. Bogus, The Super Mario Bros. Super Show, Captain N: The Game Master, my god,
the list goes on!!

27: If you had to have a cow or a pig, which would you take? Why?
I love them both (both are adorable!) but pigs have a better time developing a bond with their owners.

28: If you had to look at one city skyline for the rest of your life, which would it be?
Beauly, Scotland... the town my direct ancestors, John & William Bissett founded.

29: Longest plane ride you've ever been on?
Boston to Iceland, from Iceland to England.


30: The latest you've ever slept?
I try not to sleep past 11am.

31: Would you buy a sweater covered in kitten pictures? Would you wear it if someone gave it you for free?
Buy one? No. Wear it if it were free? Yes.

Only if they itch and I can't take it anymore.

Refried, mmmmmm....

About the same distance I can throw a rock.

Scotland, land of my ancestors!

Ethiopian, no. Vietnamese, yes, and it was tasty. Korean, yes and it was tasty. Nepalese, not that I'm aware of.

37: Small, liberal arts school or public university? Why?
I went to Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt), though I wish I went to school for Environmental Science, since
that's ultimately the career path I chose. :-\

38: A relationship with love or one with sex?
I am happily married to the man of my life. So take a good guess.

39: Do you eat enough vegetables?
Yes, perhaps too many.

40: Do you like horror movies? How about thrillers?
I like Paranormal horror movies, but slasher films literally make me puke sometimes.

41: Would you scratch a crotch itch in public?
Yep, and I have. Sometimes I just don't realize I'm doing it.

42: Do you swear in front of your parents?
Um, yeah. I'm not five.

43: Coolest thing you've ever been for Halloween?
Classic Link from The Legend of Zelda. I sewed and stitched and made the props for that costume myself.

44: If you could change your natural hair color, would you? To what?
I wouldn't. Though I did have a rockin' blue Mohawk at one time...

I am married, and my husband's 14-year-old son (and his 2-year-old wild little brother) are enough for me. :)

46: Do you use a reusable water bottle? If not, you should.
I don't use bottles, period. I use a thermos when in the great outdoors, or just take a drink from a clean lake or river.

47: City or nature person?
I am Wildlife Conservationist in my professional life, and a great-outdoors-man on my days off. Definitely a nature guy.

48: Have you ever used something other than "makeup" as makeup? (Like paint? Markers?)
I painted the Scottish flag over my face once during a Scottish Tatu (festival)

49: Can you walk well in high heels? Even if you're a guy?
I dunno. Last time I tried I was like... five or something, and just being silly.
